The holidays are upon us and many of you may be expecting a quick fix from your ex. Going back home to visit the parents can be pretty stressful. I know I want to get out the house after a few days.
Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve finds many people looking for some comfort-- and not just from food. Why go back to your ex? It’s probably because you're a little lonely and it’s comfortable. So how does this involve food? Well, you could go out on a date involving food, or hit a bar. However, you do NOT need to impress her with a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Go for tapas, drink sangria, then get it on. If you need to stay at home, get some wine and have a cheese plate.
The time between Christmas and New Years eve is “no man's” land, so go for it. People are feeling especially lonely. The cure for depression can be a sharing of some nooky with an old, yet familiar friend. However, do not be tempted to make plans for New Year’s Eve with your ex. Remember your ex, cherish your ex, but on New Years eve at the stroke of midnight kiss someone you're emotionally involved with. Not your fling. If you think you are going to become emotionally involved with your ex during the time between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve DON’T DO IT! It’s not worth it. Eat, drink, be very merry and find someone new.
