Smoothies are bloody healthy and delicious. They are simple to make and you can put just about anything in them. I prefer orange juice as a base for my smoothies. Try them with apple juice or pomegranate juice too. The yogurt gives it a slightly different texture and is great for you, but can be omitted if you prefer.

Strawberries are very good for you. The are high in vitamin C, low in calories and they are also a good source of folic acid, fiber, potassium, and cancer-fighting antioxidants.

• 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
• 1 small ripe banana
• 1 cup of orange juice
• 1/2 cup of non-fat vanilla yogurt

• Blender
Don't forget your measuring cups!

Simply add all of the ingredients into your blender and turn on to the highest speed. Stop when it's all mixed nicely.
