Moroccan Style Quinoa




The Tease
Time To Make

25 Minutes

• 1 cup quinoa

• 2 cups water

• 3 tablespoons honey

• 1 teaspoon cumin

• 1/3 cup chopped prunes

• 3 cups chopped greens (swiss chard or mustard)

• 1 cup roughly chopped roasted chicken (optional)

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Medium stock pot

• Measuring cups and spoons

Preparation (Do it!)
1. Using a strainer, rinse quinoa under cold water. Drain well and put in a small stock pot. Add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and cover for 10 minutes.

2. After 10 minutes, stir in the honey, prunes and cumin.

3. Stir in the clean and chopped greens in handfulls. (Use mustard greens for a peppery kick!)

4. Cover and simmer for about 5 more minutes. Add a bit more water if necessary.

5. Take off heat and let sit for 5 minutes.

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chicken (optional), eat and enjoy.
