Simple Candied Carrots

The Tease

20m Serves 4

• 2 Tablespoons of unsalted butter

• 2 Cups baby carrots

• 2 Tablespoons brown sugar

• Nutmeg to taste

• Salt and pepper to taste (not a lot )

• Medium pot

• Medium saucepan

Preparation (Do it!)
1. Steam carrots in pot with boiling water that just covers the top of the carrots 8-12 minutes.

2. Melt butter in saucepan. Add steamed carrots. Sprinkle with nutmeg and brown sugar. Simmer covered for 10 minutes.

3. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes longer or until carrots are glazed, stirring frequently.
