Mood: Decadent

Cost: Posh

Difficulty: Easy

Rating: XXXX
The Tease
Awesome! Time to make 25 minutes.
There are three types of King Crab. Red, Blue and Golden. Red is the most coveted!

• 1-2 Red King Crab Legs (thawed)

• 1 Stick of unsalted butter

• 2 Tablespoons of minced chives

• 2 Tablespoons of fresh minced garlic

• 1 lemon, juice (start with half a lemon)

• Salt and pepper to taste

• A mallet, hammer or blunt end

• Large and long oven safe pan

• Small sauce pan

Preparation (Do it!)
1. Thaw King Crab Legs (if not already thawed)

2. Pre-heat oven to 350º F.

3. Crack (by lightly hammering with a blunt ended object) the crab legs. This lets the warm air from the oven heat the meat easily.

4. Place legs in a large and long oven proof pan and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.

5. Melt butter in sauce pan on low heat and add garlic, chives, lemon and salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes (never boil).
