The Artisan Cheese Gallery on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, CA has a lot of cheese. It’s a small café and gourmet foods shop with a friendly staff who can help you create that perfect cheese to impress your date. In addition, you can purchase amazing sandwiches, charcuterie (prepared meats such as salami, bacon and other meat products) and salads to take on romantic picnics.
This place is great because you can sample any of their cheeses before you purchase them. I remember what a delight it was when this cheese shop opened. Great cheeses and friendly owners. When they first started they didn’t have any sandwiches at all, but now they have an abundance to suit anyone’s taste buds. Guys this is not a date place. This is a place where you can go and get cheese plates, or grub for a romantic picnic. Their food is gourmet and their prices do reflect that.
In addition to of course cheese, they do carry a variety of gourmet goods such as olive oils, vinegars and crackers to accompany your cheese.
