What girl doesn't like vodka? It mixes well with everything and you can barely taste the the booze (at least with the good stuff). Rasputin on Queen St. West is a drop-dead gorgeous vodka bar with a cold kitchen that serves up tasty Russian treats. Most nights the place opens up at 7:00PM but doesn’t getting kicken until later in the evening. Their Martini’s are very delicious and the vodka selection is grand. Try the Mojito martini it’s amazing!!!!! In addition to the wonderful Martinis, they serve up Russian love in the form of crepes, duck proscuitto, and caviar. The food is salty and just ok bar food. I wouldn't recommend that you have dinner here. However if you're craving some grub then try some of their eats.
The staff is very friendly and the owner knows a thing or two about vodka. When I asked what were some bad vodkas (not in his bar) he responded with “there are no bad vodkas, just bad vodka drinkers.” Overall, the bar is slightly trendy but very appealing. It''s a great place to take a date.
